Paraclete XP SkyVenture Indoor Skydiving Facilities

World’s Best to Compete at Paraclete XP

Raeford, NC, Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving will host the 9th Annual Indoor Skydiving Championship, February 25-26, 2017 at their facility in Raeford. International podium places will be coming from all over the world to compete in this two-day event. Teams will go head-to-head for a prize purse of over $10,000 dollars (cash and tunnel time).

Paraclete XP SkyVenture is the largest vertical wind tunnel in the United States and home to some of the world’s best skydiving teams. Their facilities include a 360-degree observation deck.

Attending teams include the 2016 US National Champions, Arizona Airspeed and World Champions Golden Knights 8-way. Also competing; GK 4-way, SDC Rhythm XP, R2G, Spaceland Lite, Skydive Midwest NEXT XP, Qatar Falcons and FIVE French 8way teams. Teams continue to register daily and will include more high level players from Europe.

Teams will compete in the following sub-categories of formation skydiving (FS):

  • 4-way FS Rookie
  • 4-way FS Int.
  • 4-way FS Open
  • 8-way FS Int.
  • 8-way FS Open
  • 4-way VFS Open

The Indoor Skydiving Competition will kick off at 7:00 am on Saturday (02/25) EST with a draw and briefing. At 8:00 am, the first round of 4-way will start followed by 8-way teams at 11:00 am. On Sunday, the first round of 4-way will begin at 7:00 am and the competition will conclude at 2:00 pm EST.
